We build simple, decent, affordable homes for families in need. Most of our homes are built through the work of volunteers and homeowners, under the supervision of trained professionals. Contractors are used for specialized services, such as electrical and plumbing.

We make an extra effort to make sure our homes are safe and sturdy. For example, in addition to making sure our homes are built in compliance with current hurricane codes, we also avoid building in flood plains and set all our houses on elevated foundations.

Our construction director works closely with local architects to make sure that our homes are both distinctive and consistent with Gulf Coast architecture.
